Gracious God,
This Second Sunday of Advent we continue our vigil to celebrate the coming of the light into the world. Grant us patience and steadfastness as we await the birth of the Christ child. During this season, let us reflect on the gifts of hope and peace and light that Jesus represents in this world. Even so, Lord Jesus, quickly come.
