Loving God,
As the demands of life seem to increase as Christmas grows nearer, grant me moments of peace to appreciate the hope and light of this season. Allow me to put aside shopping lists, cleaning lists, cooking lists; allow me to put aside crowds and traffic and noise. In these moments, give voice to my gratitude to you for the many blessings in my life.
