Gracious God,
As another Advent season begins, I pray that you will inspire hope and patience in my heart. Allow me to remain steadfastly aware of the real celebration of this season, the coming of the light into the world in the form of the infant Christ. And give voice to my thanks for the coming of the Messiah.
