Gracious God,
I know that if I am to grow in my faith, you must teach me. And I know that sometimes, I will make mistakes. Allow me not to chafe at your disciplining of me at such times. Instead fill my heart with the understanding that "the Lord reproves the one he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights."
