Loving God,
Allow me to place my confidence in you, O Lord, so that I am not afraid. You promise that if I keep your wisdom in my sight, I will not be afraid and "when [I] lie down, [my] sleep will be sweet." When I panic, O God, remind me of your presence and your teaching; in good times and bad, allow me to glimpse and understand your ways.
