Loving God,
Allow me to learn the lesson of your teaching, so that in my later days I cannot say the following: "I did not listen to the voice of my teachers or incline my ear to my instructors. Now I am at the point of utter ruin in the public assembly." Teach me this day the lessons you would have me learn. Open my ears and my mind to your voice; open my hands and my heart to your will.
