Loving God,
Teach me your ways, as a father instructs his son. And help me to year your voice, saying, "Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments, and live." Help me to listen to you as a young child, rather than as a teenager who already knows better or rather than as an adult who doesn't have the time. Grant to me this day life everlasting through you.
